ResearchThe Department of Pharmacy Practice has active research programs in the pharmacotherapy of disease as well as the practice of pharmacy. Areas of focus within the department include infectious diseases, cardiovascular therapy, diabetes, pediatrics, osteoporosis, anticoagulation, neuropharmacology and pain management. In addition, several faculty members are engaged in research related to alternative practice models for pharmacists in the community.
